About us
Skotel Alpine Resort is situated at Whakapapa Village, SH 48, Mt. Ruapehu, New Zealand. At the Skotel we give you the opportunity to design your own adventure from accommodation to activities with all the information available and friendly staff to assist in organizing it for you. Skotel is a true alpine retreat at the foot of Ruapehu in the heart of Tongariro National Park. Whether you want superior, standard or backpackers accommodation, we have something to suit. We specialize in smaller events of up to 20 rooms but given adequate notice we are able to devote the whole hotel to a larger event. The Tongariro National Park, Tongariro Crossing and The Whanganui River are some of the famous destinations to look out for, but the real joy of our facility is the quality of the food.
