About us

The George & Dragon Hotel is located at Kirkbymoorside in the city of York. The hotel, only 5 minutes from Helmsley and Pickering, is a haven of hospitality in the sleepy market town of Kirkbymoorside, where a warm Yorkshire welcome awaits you. The hotel accommodation features 20 rooms that are individually styled each with a cosy feel. The hotel boasts a fine selection of accommodation for anyone wanting bed and breakfast in North Yorkshire. Standard doubles, twins & family rooms, a selection of superior rooms & suites. The George & Dragon Hotel is the perfect venue for that very special marque wedding, the marquee at the rear of the building can accommodate 80 guests in the main reception area also giving a large separate bar area.
