About us
Thirsk Racecourse is made up of two sections, a straight course of 6 furlongs, running parallel to Station Road, with the start close to Thirsk Railway Station and the winning post in front of the grandstand. There is also a left hand circuit, about one and a quarter miles in length which joins the straight course some three furlongs from home. On days when there is no racing fixture, our superbly equipped buildings are available for your banquet, conference, meeting, training course, working breakfast, craft fair etc. Furniture can be arranged e.g. in lecture or boardroom format, and we offer a range of catering from tea, coffee and biscuits to finger buffet, lunch, dinner and full banquets.
