Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION. All cancellations by the Customer, if allowed for in this contract, must be in writing and sent to Trident Banquet Hall by prepaid first class mail, fax, courier or delivered in person with receipt acknowledged by a representative of TBH. Standard cancellation charges, including administrative charges and applicable taxes (e.g. HST), are as follows: If cancelled more than 365 before the event date, $250. If cancelled more than 244 and less than 366 days before the event date, 50% of the shortfall, if any, between the amount TBH is able to charge for any rebooking made up to 90 days prior to the event date and the premises rent portion of this contract, subject to a minimum charge of $400. If cancelled more than 31 and less than 245 days before the event date, 80% of the shortfall, if any, between the amount TBH is able to charge for any rebooking made up to the event date and the premises rent portion of this contract, subject to a minimum charge of $750. If cancelled less than 32 days before the event date, the full amount of the premises rent portion of this contract, plus all direct expenses incurred by TBH that cannot be recovered, plus 50% of the rent portion of this contract but not more than $1,000. TBH will attempt to rebook cancellations in its normal course of operations and in good faith. The Customer agrees that the above noted charges are reasonable in consideration for the commitment in resources being made by TBH and the costs being incurred. If sufficient deposits have been received by TBH, the cancellation charges will be deducted from the deposits and the remaining difference will be refunded to the Customer. If the deposits are less than the cancellation charges, the difference become due and payable immediately.
