The Toulon shores hosted for thirty years the prestigious Giraglia Cup. Its creation in 1953 aims to mend ties of friendship between two countries torn apart by war - France and Italy. Sixty years later, the Giraglia Cup displays a striking palmares of the race naval architecture. Toulon maintains an intimate and powerful ancestral ties to the Mediterranean.
