Hotel Semifonte is situated in a strategic position to discover our beautiful and fascinating Tuscany. Just 10 minutes by car to get to San Gimignano and 20 minutes to reach Siena, the city of the very famous Palio horse race. Florence with its outstanding cultural heritage can be reached in 50 minutes both by car or by public means of transports. Some beautiful boroughs such as Castellina in Chianti, Gaiole, Greve in Chianti or our middle age villages such as Certaldo, Volterra and Monteriggioni are located nearby. The hotel has number of rooms with modern facilities available. It has a restaurant that is ideal for events such as weddings, parties and anniversaries. It also offers meeting room that can host meetings and conferences.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We endeavor to build touristic scavenger hunts that mix easy and tough challenges, that are family friendly and fun. Moreover, we really try to provide insight and discovery about the city you are visiting.
Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
