Queen's Park plays host to a variety of Brass Band Concerts. They happen on Sunday afternoon from 2.30pm - 4.30pm (weather permitting). There are a variety of activities and events happening in the park in 2013. Some are large and will require tickets. Others are on a much smaller scale and usually on a turn up basis. As part of the heritage lottery restoration the recently refurbished Cricket Pavilion within Queen's Park is available for hire as a unique venue for your meetings. Consisting of a meeting room which can comfortably cater for a conference of 24 people boardroom style. (More could be accommodated in a more informal basis)

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
