Hotel CastelBrando is in the medieval village of Cison Valmarino, in the heart of the hills of the Prosecco Veneto, between Venice and the Dolomites. The castle, one of the largest and oldest in Europe, is surrounded by a beautiful park with a hotel with 80 elegant rooms, suites and apartments located in three different settings, a Spa & Beauty Farm, a sophisticated restaurant, a family pizza restaurant as well as pubs, wine cellars and wine bars. It also offers a congress and events centre, consisting of 3 theatres and 7 meeting rooms, equipped with the latest technology, a cultural centre that offers the visit of the castle, the various thematic museum areas, the eighteenth-century church of San Martino and a large store with books, souvenirs and fashion.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
