The Grand Paradis Hotel is the oldest hotel of Cogne in the central position, it appears on the little square of Dr Grappein Street, on one part, on its garden on the other part. The rooms recall the hotel histories because they are inspired to the Twentieth Century style. They are all hand decorated, with different colors on each floor, they are furnished with furniture realized with wood floors and of the region. The strong character and the recall does not penalize long ago. The restaurant, with storical tradition in the past was the place where the people of Cogne met each other for lunches, banquets and balls. Today it is an intimate corner with a cured and warm acclimatization and a kitchen inspired to a traditional and national kitchen . The wine menu privileges the best labels of the region, but it also proposes the principal Italian wines.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
