The Hermitage is an impressive four stars hotel based in Salento, in a central location between two gorgeous seas. It is located in the heart of a region rich of history, and Cultural Heritages of very suggestive wine-and-food routes. Based in Lecce, in the center of Lecce provinces, it is the ideal hotel to easily reach the main economic areas, the attractive lidos and the Cultural Heritages of the south Puglia. The hotel is 100 meters far from the Fierasalento, a few kilometers from Lecce (the baroque city) and is the ideal choice for the business man or for the tourist looking for entertainment and relaxation. The Hotel has 2 Deluxe Suites (one of them with a fireplace made of lecce typical stone) with Jacuzzi, and 48 cozy rooms recently renewed. The large dining rooms of the Hotel are famous for their elegance and high functionality. They are able to host 450 people for banquets of high level. The refined service is not only limited to the catering of the hotel’s restaurant, but also for occasions such as meetings, any kind of receptions, cocktail parties or simply a romantic dinner for two with candle lights.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
