Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa is situated by the sea close to Helsinki City Centre. It has a long-standing reputation when it comes to events and has been the stage for many international conferences through the years. The unique surroundings, excellent dining options and flexible meeting facilities combine to create an exceptional atmosphere for all kinds of occasions. Our versatile conference and banqueting facilities range from the intimate Vanha Torppa, featuring murals by Moomin artist Tove Jansson, to the celebrated Round Room party venue and the Siirtomaasali Colonial Room, which seats 500 delegates. Our many meeting rooms offer a relaxed environment, ideal to conduct business and savour the sea views. Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa is located only 4 km from the city centre. You have an easy access to the city centre by tram – the nearest tram stop is only 200 metres from the hotel.

The open-air museum of Seurasaari is located on a beautiful green island just a few kilometres from the heart of Helsinki. The island is a tranquil oasis in the midst of the city and at the museum the traditional Finnish way of life is displayed in the cottages, farmsteads and manors of the past four centuries that have been relocated from all around Finland. Seurasaari Open-Air Museum was founded in 1909. All the different provinces of Finland are represented in the well preserved old buildings and they give an overall view of Finnish countryside life from the 18th to the 20th century. At present, there are 87 separate buildings at Seurasaari Museum. The Niemelä tenant farm from Central Finland and the Antti farmstead from southwestern Finland form complete environments with all of the original outbuildings intact.The life of the rural gentry is illustrated by the wooden church from Karuna (1686), the Kahiluoto Manor House from south-western Finland and the parsonage from Iisalmi. The museum also includes a country shop and several farmhouses and smaller cottages such as the Kurssi and Ivars houses from Ostrobothnia, the Selkämä house from eastern Finland, the Halla house from northeastern Finland, and the Pertinotsa house from Karelia. The Seurasaari Open Air Museum is open from 15 May until 15 September

The Didrichsen Art Museum is the result of a love of art. All pieces are bought by Marie-Louise and Gunnar Didrichsen together. It was important to them that they both liked the artworks. The collection consists of Finnish art from the 20th century among others Edelfelt, Cawén, Schjerfbeck, Särestöniemi, Linnovaara, Hiltunen and Pullinen. In the modern international art collection there are works by: Picasso, Kandinsky, Miró, Léger, Moore, Giacometti and Arp.
