Şu anda bombalama sırasında meydana gelen yıkım kalan bir dönüm noktası olarak, sloganının sembolüdür “Artık Hiroşimas Yok.” Nesilleri kapsayan nükleer silahların kaldırılması ve dünya çapında kalıcı barışın önemi için bir sembol haline geldi..
