Tohum, yepyeni bir etkinlik merkezi olarak İstanbul'a bağışlandı. Boğaz'daki eşsiz konumu ve mimari yapısı ile 330 kişilik konferans, kongre ve konser salonu ile seçkin marka isimlere, organizasyonlara ve özel müşterilere hizmet vermekte olup, 800 kişilik akşam yemeği servisi ve 1000 kişiye kadar kokteyl hizmeti verebilmektedir. “Çekirdek” kelimesi anlamına gelen Tohum, Sabancı Üniversitesi Sakip Sabancı Müzesi'nde 1700 metrekarelik bir alan üzerine inşa edilmiştir. “Çekirdek” kelimesi anlamına gelen Tohum, Sabancı Üniversitesi Sakip Sabancı Müzesi'nde 1700 metrekarelik bir alan üzerine inşa edilmiştir.
