City Hotel Nieuw Minerva is situated in the historic center of Leiden, it has a beautiful view on the Old Rhine. Easily accessible by boat. Within walking distance of all museums, the university, the botanical gardens, theaters, cinemas, shops and restaurants. A perfect base for anyone who wants to visit Leiden. Schiphol airport is 20 minutes away. The beaches of Noordwijk are 10 km away. Hotel Nieuw Minerva consists of 39 guest rooms which are completely furnished with various amenities. Besides that you can stay here, the hotel also has 3 conference rooms and a bar. The rooms have a maximum capacity of 50 persons, have a classic design and are located in our historic building. All our rooms have daylight and a relaxed atmosphere.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
