The Venetian Macao, part of Sands Resorts Macao, is one of Asia’s leading business, leisure, shopping and entertainment destinations featuring 3,000 luxury suites including the newly refurbished Premio Suites, more than 350 outlets at the Shoppes at The Venetian, cuisines from across the globe including Michelin-starred Indian restaurant The Golden Peacock, bars and lounges and non-stop entertainment. The property has been designed with meeting planners in mind and features over 100,000 sqm of convention and meeting space including 108 flexible meeting rooms, one of the largest pillar-less ballroom in Asia, 15,000-seat Cotai Arena, and 1,800-seat The Venetian Theatre. Many local and international events, from sales meetings and corporate conferences to major media ceremonies and award shows, have been successfully hosted here. The Venetian Macao is also interconnected with 6 other properties under Sands Resorts Macao, featuring approximately 12,500 hotel rooms and suites, international superstar live entertainment, 150 international dining options, and duty free shopping over 850 retailers, which provides one-stop-shop services all under one roof.

The Ruins of St. Paul's refer to the facade of what was originally the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640, destroyed by fire in 1835, and the ruins of St. Paul's College, which stood adjacent to the Church. As a whole, the old Church of Mater Dei, St. Paul's College and Mount Fortress were all Jesuit constructions and formed what can be perceived as the Macau's "acropolis". Close by, the archaeological remains of the old College of St. Paul stand witness to what was the first western-style university in the Far East, with an elaborate academic programme. Nowadays, the facade of the Ruins of St. Paul's functions symbolically as an altar to the city.
