Grand Hotel is ideally located on Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan where cars are not allowed and bikes and horse-drawn carriages are the favored modes of transportation. Grand Hotel offers outstanding accommodations where no two guest rooms are alike and provides a wide range of rooms, including one and two-bedroom suite options. With more than 22,000 square feet of meeting space available and a variety of indoor and outdoor meeting locations, we proudly host many meetings of all sizes. Interior meeting spaces are located under one roof making it very convenient for guests. Whether traveling by ferry boat or airplane, getting to Mackinac Island is easy and accessible from many metropolitan areas. Once here the solitude of getting away and being on an island without cars makes it the perfect location to connect and re-connect with others. It truly is America's Meeting Place.

Grand Hotel is committed to maintaining high-quality meetings and conferences while modifying all existing set-ups to accommodate social distancing. Located on an island where 85% of the land is historic State Park, meetings on Mackinac Island may be just what your attendees need with plenty of fresh air, activities, and outdoor locations for cocktail receptions and events, including Grand Hotel's Front Porch, the world's longest with incredible views of the Straits of Mackinac. With more than 22,000 square feet of meeting space available, Grand Hotel has implemented new cleaning protocols, and adjusted maximum capacities and modified room arrangements to allow for effective social distancing. While there will be limits placed on attendee capacity based on government and local authority requirements, your personal Convention Manager will be a resource to execute a memorable event at a safe distance.
