Bu 330 metre uzunluğundaki II. Sınıf listesindeki viyadük, Manchester'ın en eski bölgesi olan ve 2000 yıllık bir tarihle çevrili Castlefield'da yer almaktadır. 1892'de ikonik Blackpool Kulesi'nde çalışan mühendisler olan Heenan ve Froude tarafından inşa edilen viyadük, 1969'a kadar Manchester Merkez İstasyonu ve Great Northern Warehouse'a yolcu ve yük trenlerini taşıdı.
Demiryolu hattının kapatılmasından sonra, Castlefield Viyadüğü kullanılmadı ancak Ulusal Karayolları tarafından düzenli olarak bakımı yapıldı. Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

Our initiatives focus on minimising waste, conserving energy and embracing digital solutions. Plastic water bottles are eliminated in favour of large-format dispensers. Reduced HVAC and lighting policies conserve energy during low or no occupancy periods. Digital or reusable signage cuts back on waste, and we also remove single-use items such as notepads, pens and coasters from meeting spaces.
