Villas & residences With the privilege of being the islands’ sole resort comes the pleasure of exceptionally large, open and airy rooms, much larger than most resorts in the Maldives. The generous space is matched by unparalleled views from each of Raffles Maldives Meradhoo’s 38 villas. On the natural island are the resort’s beach villas, just steps away from white sands and the wide Indian Ocean. Rooms are furnished in tones of soft sky blue and duck egg that reflect the natural beauty of their surroundings, with furnishings including the famous Raffles’ writer’s desk. Outside on the deck, a private pool and outdoor shower are perfect for temperate starry nights. The magnificent Raffles Royal Residence is also sited on the natural island. On the overwater resort, reached by a traditional Maldivian dhoni boat, the villas sit over the water, giving guests the freshness and freedom of the water. In each terrace, a glass panel in the floor invites guest to marvel at the colourful sea life below. With cool marble bathrooms and luxurious furnishings, each villa is a haven of calm and space. Alongside the villas sit the stunning Overwater Residence and Sunset Overwater Residence.
