In 1992, New York Offstage began, when founder, Bev Sambrotto, left her role as Assistant Director of Visitor Services at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Her tenure at Lincoln Center gave her invaluable experience as a producer of refined cultural events. This experience included talent recruitment and coordination with world-class talent from Lincoln Center’s companies, cutting edge event planning and production for Fortune 500 corporations, and creative, interactive program content for patrons, and international travel and luxury group clients. New York Offstage flourished as the industry leader in these immersive, behind-the-scenes experiences showcasing New York’s cultural world. As the company grew it was evident that its services and business model could be copied in other leading cultural destinations and in 2007 the brand was renamed The Offstage Group. Until 2012 The Offstage Group served groups of all sizes. The company had weathered several economic downturns and as a safeguard changed its business model to include memorable experiences for individual travelers. Your VIP Pass was born!

In 2004, chef Daniel launched Granny’s Golden Oven across from a hospital, offering health-conscious meals that quickly gained popularity among the staff. His dedication to quality earned him a decade-long partnership with the Military, providing nutritious lunches for recruits five days a week. Eager to expand his horizons, chef Daniel ventured into fine dining, collaborating with top-tier caterers and executive chefs. He later completed his degree in culinary arts, blending tradition with modern innovation—all while staying true to his foundational principle of using the freshest ingredients.

Our clients are encouraged to inspect their jobs in our shop to get a hands on feel of the scale and specific scenic elements.

Fogo elevates the centuries-old cooking technique of churrasco – the art of roasting high-quality cuts of meat over an open flame – into a cultural dining experience of discovery. Differentiated menus are offered for all dayparts including lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and group dining, plus full-service catering and contactless takeout and delivery options.
