Oro Hotel is a four star hotel, located at the Sea City area of Policoro, is about 2 km far from the city centre, easily accessible by bus and taxi service, and about 500 meters from the beach. Policoro is on the Ionian coast midway between Taranto and Matera the world famous town of Sassi which has been recognized part of UNESCO Patrimony. Policoro offers tourist fond of archeology historical and cultural routes which you can find at Siris Museum along with archeological sites proving settlements of Magna Grecia, Siris and Heraclea civilization. The hotel has a welcoming hall, an American bar, a restaurant, an internet point and a comfortable T.V lounge which can accommodate about 150 people, also suitable for lectures and conventions. Modern design, functional with huge windows overlooking a lush woodland area, the hotel offers guests a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
