Steigenberger Alsik Mayıs 2019'da açılan otel, Sønderborg'un güzel eski sahilinde ve bölgedeki yeni bir simge yapısında güzel bir konuma sahiptir. Dünyaca ünlü mimar Frank Gehry tarafından oluşturulan genel geliştirme ana planının bir parçasıdır ve gerçekleştirilmesi Henning Larsen Architects™ imzasını taşır. Bu projeyi türünün tek örneği yapan sadece aynı kattaki 17. restoran (yemek odası) hemen altındaki platformdan gelen manzara, gündüz ışığında aydınlatılmış davetkar ziyafet ve konferans alanı değil, aynı zamanda geniş ve son teknoloji Alsik Spa (Nordic wellness) alanı ve İskandinav tarzında konforlu bir şekilde donatılmış 190 oda ve süit! Ek olarak, 2022'de otele sadece 300 metre mesafede yeni bir mekan konumu eklendi. Bir sonraki konferans, sergi veya akşam yemeği gösteriniz için mükemmel bir yer. Yer Lüks otel, Alssund kıyısındaki Sønderborg'un merkezinde, Alssund sahilinde, Kopenhag'a uçakla sadece 35 dakika, Almanya'ya arabayla sadece 40 dakika ve Hamburg'a arabayla 2 saat uzaklıkta yer almaktadır. Tesis bünyesinde otopark mevcuttur. Sürdürülebilirlik Alsik %76 karbon nötr ve bodrumdan çatıya yeşil bir oteldir ve Sønderborg'un 2029 yılına kadar karbon nötr olma vizyonunun bir parçasıdır.
