Experience the wonder of Grace! Discover this striking Gothic cathedral famed worldwide for its labyrinths, Ghiberti doors, Interfaith AIDS Chapel, and inclusivity. Wander through the building as you admire the cathedral’s stunning stained glass, Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ, and religious and secular art by Keith Haring, David LaChappelle, Ansel Adams, and more. Learn about the church's history, art, religion, architecture, and social justice initiatives, along with San Francisco's history, including the 1906 fire and the founding of the United Nations. Walk one of our two labyrinths to finish your visit.
An interactive self-guided journey is included with admission or add a Guided Tour for a deeper exploration. A children’s map is also available to explore the cathedral on a treasure hunt. While your admission fee supports Grace’s inclusive mission to be welcoming to all, those seeking a private place for prayer or meditation will be welcomed at no admission cost during sightseeing hours.

It has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The Frommers travel guide considers the Golden Gate Bridge "possibly the most beautiful, certainly the most photographed, bridge in the world.”

Originally built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition, the Palace of the Fine Arts and the surrounding tranquil lagoon are one of the most photographed spots in the city. Some say it's because of the reflection in the lagoon that makes the site uniquely San Francisco, but don't underestimate the Merchant-Maybeck designed dome. It will take your breath away.
The de Young Museum originated as the Fine Arts Building, which was constructed in Golden Gate Park for the California Midwinter International Exposition in 1894. The chair of the exposition organizing committee was Michael H. de Young, co-founder of the San Francisco Chronicle. The Fine Arts Building was designed in a pseudo–Egyptian Revival style and decoratively adorned with images of Hathor, the cow goddess. Following the exposition, the building was designated as a museum for the people of San Francisco. Over the years, the de Young has grown from an attraction originally designed to temporarily house an eclectic collection of exotic oddities and curiosities to the foremost museum in the western United States concentrating on American art, international textile arts and costumes, and art of the ancient Americas, Oceania and Africa.
Coit Tower atop Telegraph Hill is blessed with marvelous views. The construction of the tower was funded by a bequest from Lillie Hitchcock Coit who left one third of her fortune to the City and County of San Francisco "to be expended in an appropriate manner for the purpose of adding to the beauty of the city which I have always loved." Murals on its ground floor walls were painted in 1933 by some 30 local artists; each piece depicting a different aspect of the Great Depression.
