Developed by Malaysia’s top property developer, S P Setia Berhad, Setia City Convention Centre (The Centre) offers a wide variety of indoor and outdoor venues. Strategically located in the heart of Setia Alam Township and with easy accessibility, it is just 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur City Centre and Malaysia's International Airport (KLIA). Strengthening S P Setia's value of providing sustainable living, the Centre is the first convention centre in Malaysia to be certified for Green Building Index (GBI). It combines the best in hospitality with modern facilities and adheres to our fundamental principles of long-term sustainability and LiveLearnWorkPlay philosophy. Since its operation in November 2012, the Centre became a venue of choice for hosting various events such as weddings, corporate banquets, product launches, exhibitions, and outdoor events. Not only does it comprise of a grand ballroom with a 2,000 seating capacity and 8 meeting rooms, it also boasts a wide outdoor space that consist of the Oval Lawn, Event Lawn and Event Park. The outdoor spaces are suitable to host numerous open-air concerts, lifestyle festivals, carnivals, automotive test drive and shows, marathons and more. It was designed to stimulate the minds of guests in an outdoor environment with the comfort of indoor venue facilities. In 2017, the Centre added an extension to its premises. It was a hall that can accommodate up to 350 booths for exhibitions, 4,000 guests in banquet style seating and up to 8,000 guests in theatre style arrangement for mega events. In addition, the hall has the facilities of 5 meeting rooms, dedicated VIP lounge and reception with an organizer office. The Centre can accommodate up to 2,000 parking lots with an additional of 2,500 parking lots at the adjacent Setia City Mall, making it a perfect venue to host huge events such as exhibitions, conventions and concerts.
