Thank you for choosing DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown Capitol! Our hotel has recently completed a full-property renovation, empowering us to welcome business and leisure travelers to the heart of downtown Austin with an elevated hospitality experience. Embodying Texas-sized comfort and charm, our warm and spacious one- and two-bedroom suites invite guests to their home away from home. All suites include kitchens, while some are equipped with stovetops for added convenience during extended stays. Our meeting rooms are supported by state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and range from boardrooms to ballrooms, allowing for the ultimate flexibility in accommodating both corporate and social events with over 5,000 square feet of function space. The vibrant Austin experience is further brought to life with a carefully curated selection of amenities. During their stay, guests can unwind at our outdoor pool deck — overlooking an iconic city skyline — work out at a 24-hour fitness center, enjoy high-speed connectivity throughout the hotel, purchase grab & go items at our market pantry and savor local flavors at our full-service restaurant and bar.

Using the company's LightStay corporate responsibility management system, Hilton provides a detailed estimate of the carbon emissions associated with a specific meeting or event at its hotels. South Pole and Hilton can provide clients with carbon neutral meetings by investing in high quality carbon reduction projects that are aligned with multiple of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and Hilton's 2030 Goals. All of the projects selected for Hilton's portfolio are either Gold Standard (https://www.goldstandard.org) Verified Emissions Reductions or Verified Carbon Standard projects. Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
