Villamare Hotel is located in Fontane Bianche, the most popular seaside resort of the town, just fifteen kilometres from Syracuse and from Noto. Villamare Hotel is the perfect base for business travelers or for tourists looking for a relaxing and friendly atmosphere in a traditional setting. Close to the hotel, you will find a variety of activities for all tastes and ages, including a sandy beach, sports like snorkeling and scuba diving, a spa and luxurious wellness centre, and beautifully preserved nature areas that are ideal for hiking or walks. There is also the possibility to visit the many archaeological sites and historical monuments. Our lush and well-kept gardens are a peaceful oasis providing guests with comfortable seating areas, exotic plants and a pool to relax in. This is an idyllic place to be throughout the entire day: to eat breakfast, to relax during the day, to sip a drink in the evening, to dine by candlelight. For your seminars, motivational or corporate events, Hotel Villamare in Sicily transforms its breakfast area into a comfortable, well-equipped meeting room that can accommodate up to 30 participants. During warm weather, we can host business events in our beautiful garden, which offers the perfect setting for an exhibit, cocktail party or private event.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
