Situated in a park of 90‘000m2 (22 acres) and surrounded by two nature reserves, you will find at the Deltapark the ideal hideaway to recharge your batteries and leave the daily hustle and bustle behind. The resort complex consists of a main building, with a centrally located parking space, the indoor parking hall to one side and the so called “Sporthaus” to the other. Three triangularly shaped buildings located directly by the lake contain the “Deltaspa” and our 19 “Waldhaus” guest rooms.

Built by the Dukes of Zähringen, the 12th century Thun Castle with its four towers overlooks the town and is its most visible feature. Discover the unmistakeable landmark of Thun.
After visiting the special exhibition in the "New Castle", which focuses on cultural, historical and contemporary themes, the tour explores the cellar of the castle. With its interactive concept, it offers interesting information about the history and development of Thun. The five large halls of the tower (dungeon) on the upper floors house valuable exhibits and stunning artefacts relating to the history and culture of the castle and the town of Thun during the Middle Ages.
The crowning glory of the castle is the Knights Hall – the best-preserved ceremonial hall of the Late Middle Ages in Switzerland. When you reach the towers, your stair-climbing efforts are richly rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views over the Bernese Alps and Lake Thun.
