Hotel Locanda Cacio Re is merged in the enchanting landscape preluding to the Monti Sibillini National Park, in the heart of green Umbria. Close to the hotel is the medieval Vallo di Nera Castle, still populated and perfectly preserved, with its boundary walls, towers and stone-made houses. Its beautiful churches are place of classical music concerts and are a perfect spot for any kind of ceremony. Nature and Culture join in this place, where one can still feel the touch with the land and silence. Here one will find comfortable rooms, named after local legends characters, with a wonderful view over the Nera River valley, and a typical restaurant, 'La Locanda di Cacio Re'. The hotel is at the guests’ disposal for weddings' organization and offers the restaurant for the banquet.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
