The Star Inn can be located in York, England. Ideally situated for family or corporate gatherings, which would normally take over the entire hotel's 8 double rooms and benefit from private dining in the Wheelhouse, or across at The Star, Cross House Lodge is a great base for meetings, but also for groups incorporating activities into their visit. The Star's unique eight-bedroomed hotel is literally across the road from the Pub. All eight rooms are highly individual, many with quirky features. The Wheelhouse at Cross House Lodge is licensed to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnership Ceremonies, with up to 50 people present for the ceremony. Guests are able to relax before and after the ceremony in either the Lounge or on the Terrace and lawns to the west of the Lodge. The reception lunch or dinner for parties of up to 40 seated guests may be held in either The Wheelhouse at Cross House Lodge or the Restaurant at The Star. For more intimate gatherings, the Private Dining Room at The Star is available for up to ten diners. For larger receptions of over 40 guests, marquees may be erected at Cross House Lodge.
