The Whitman House has four very distinctive dining rooms that can accommodate from 10 to 125 persons. Whether you are planning a gala reception, birthday party, graduation gathering or any special celebration, we have a function menu to meet all requirements. We provide receptions from the informal affair to the very tailored formal occasion. Our packages are complete: assortment of appetizers, a variety of homemade soups, salad and bread, entrees that range from Roast Prime Rib to Chicken ala Whitman (boneless breast stuffed with asparagus and cheese), seasonal vegetable, potato, coffee and dessert, for a set price of $24.00 to $30.00 per person. We also offer the options of a champagne toast and decorative bride's cake with these packages. We can assist in floral decor, dance music, table arrangements, and receiving lines. For casual gatherings we extend the same hospitality and professional service for $22.00 to $26.00 per person. We arrange all of our functions so they are in a private dining room with the best of both food and service.
