Newtown House Restaurant, is located, at the gateway to the Margaret River Wine Region, in the original homestead, of the Abbey family. Established in 1991, the restaurant, offers superb regional cuisine, great service and a warm atmosphere. Guests can dine indoors by the log fire in winter or take advantage of the sun in summer with alternative alfresco dining. At Newtown House we pride ourselves on attention to detail for your special occasion. Garden Weddings, Celebrations and Corporate Catering, in our beautiful grounds or a location of your choice. The guesthouse is situated adjacent to the restaurant and offers hotel style accommodation with all the comforts of home. The four rooms feature queen size beds, en suite bathrooms, tea & coffee facilities etc.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
