Thanks to her outstanding acoustics though, singing in the shower quickly turned to concerts and gala balls, with everyone from Johann Strauss to the Kinks gracing her stage. When it comes to design, we’ve taken cues from our leading lady’s past life, mixing vintage furnishings with statement spotlights and a head-turning piano. But while playbills, vinyl sleeves and instruments hint at past glories, the bar menu’s thoroughly modern.
