We were founded in June 1971 by Richard Melman and Jerry A. Orzoff with the opening of R.J. Wine Country Trekking provides guided hikes in the beautiful wine country of California including Napa and Sonoma Valleys. These experiences include walking in the vineyards, amongst ancient redwood trees and oak groves with a curated wine country lunch and visits to iconic wineries for superb wine tasting experiences. In addition to our guided day hikes we provide luxury self-guided inn-to-in walking vacations from the gateway City of San Francisco to the California wine country with a focus on superb hiking, lodging, food and wine. We also have a Monterey Bay Trek.

Our first restaurant in Orange County is located in the heart of Irvine Spectrum Center, a premier shopping, dining and lifestyle destination in Southern California. Upon entering the restaurant, guests have a panoramic view of the dining room featuring an open kitchen window to showcase our gaucho chefs at the churrasqueria grill. The main dining room is anchored by a white Carrara Market Table and our signature bas-relief interpretation of Antonio Carigni’s O Lacador statue, the embodiment of the gaucho culture. The Irvine location also features a contemporary bar with lounge seating and California design influence, elegant private dining room and expansive patio with al fresco dining options.
