Sugarbush strives to reduce waste to the landfill by using reusable products as much as possible and purchasing recyclable or compostable products where needed. Recycling and trash receptacles are always paired to ensure recycling is accessible. All food scraps are composted.

Plastic straws are only available upon request. Stirrers are compostable. Single-use plastic bottles or cups used at Sugarbush are recyclable or compostable.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Sugarbush purchases solar net-metering credits which cover nearly half of the resort’s total electricity usage.
