The Backbencher Pub and Café is well known around town as a great place to meet for an after work drink and a bite to eat. With an across the street view of parliament buildings and grounds, you’ll be able to see what the leaders of the country are getting up to. The Backbencher is available for small and large private functions. We are able to cater to all your needs – from a special occasion to corporate lunch to an important conference or seminar. We have a variety of menu selections; from finger food to a la carte, or try their special BBQ menu. There is also an Alfresco dining area with a private bar and a number of function rooms available for hire.
