Metro-North Railroad provides daily service between 43 train stations and New York’s Grand Central Terminal while Amtrak provides direct service from Washington, D.C., and other major East Coast cities to Croton-on-Hudson, Yonkers and New Rochelle. The area is also only a short distance from John F. Kennedy and Newark International Airports and La Guardia Airport. For domestic flights, Westchester County Airport (HPN) offers passengers six commercial airlines including American Airlines, United, Delta, Jet Blue and US Airways with non-stop flights to major destinations that connect to cities worldwide. When it comes to accommodations, Westchester offers 47 lodging properties including more than 35 full-service and specialty hotels, 6,550 hotel rooms, and more than 300,000 square feet of meeting and conference space to accommodate all of your event needs without breaking the bank. Most recently, Westchester has experienced an investment of more than $100 million in hotel renovations, the grand opening of two new hotel properties and is awaiting the development of at least three more. In addition, the county is home to several historic and cultural attractions including Tarrytown Music Hall, Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, Kykuit - the Rockefeller Estate, Sunnyside, home to “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” author Washington Irving, Philipsburg Manor, a 17th-century working farm and much more. Recently, Westchester welcomed the inaugural season of The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, now playing at the Westchester County Center.
