More

The Great Hall, “one of the finest surviving aisled halls of the 13th century”, contains the greatest symbol of medieval mythology, King Arthur's Round Table, and is all that now remains of Winchester Castle. The Castle was originally constructed for William the Conqueror in 1067 to help secure his hold on the city after the Norman Conquest. It housed important aspects of government such as the Treasury and the Exchequer. Beautiful and legendary venue can hold up to 300 seated in rows, 400 for a stand-up reception or 180 seated at tables and the Hall can be arranged so it complements the style of your particular event.
