Hotel Nassau Breda is het eerste lifestyle-hotel in de provincie Noord-Brabant, Nederland. Gelegen in het dynamische centrum van Breda, biedt de historische ambiance van het hotel unieke ervaringen. De sobere levensstijl van de nonnen die dit pand in de 19e eeuw bewoonden, vormde een uniek contrast met de aangrenzende oude herenhuizen met hun rijke eigenaren. Met prachtige gewelfde, kleurrijke glas-in-loodramen en zelfs een authentieke vloer is onze kapel de ultieme locatie voor uw memorabele evenement. Tijdens de renovatie werd de kapel aangepast om de akoestiek voor muziekevenementen te optimaliseren. Naast de Kapel beschikt Hotel Nassau Breda over verschillende bestuurs- en vergaderzalen. Alle unieke vergaderzalen zijn voorzien van daglicht, airconditioning en breedbandinternet. Alles is mogelijk: van een kleine bestuursvergadering voor 4 personen tot een uitgebreide theaterbijeenkomst van 250 personen. Het historische Begijnhof van Breda ligt aan de rand van het Valkenbergpark. Hier vind je kleine huizen, een kerk en enkele binnenplaatsen met een kruidentuin. Katholieke vrouwen woonden hier rond de twaalfde eeuw en leidden hun leven in het teken van geloof. Vaak leefden ze vrij sober en eenvoudig. De eerste huizen werden gebouwd rond 1535. Het Begijnhof Museum is te vinden aan de Catharinastraat 29.

Al heel vroeg in de geschiedenis staat dit kasteel met zijn prachtige slotgracht bekend om zijn warme band met leden van het huis Oranje-Nassau. Het kasteel werd gebouwd rond 1350 en diende als residentie van de Nederlandse edelman Jan van Polanen. Het kasteel van Breda heeft jarenlang de functie van militaire kazerne vervuld. Tegenwoordig staat het kasteel bekend als een instituut voor militaire doeleinden en is het tijdens de Brabantse Kasteeldagen gedeeltelijk open voor publiek.
