About us

Situated in the conservation area of Barnston on the Wirral Peninsula, The Fox & Hounds has all the charm and characteristics of a traditional village inn. The Fox prides itself on its friendly service and attention to detail ensuring that your experience with us is a pleasurable and memorable one. At The Fox & Hounds we are able to cater for a variety of occasions; birthdays, anniversaries, arriving & leaving parties etc. Although we do not have a specific function room, we have both the lounge bar and the “snug” bar that can be used for functions. Our lounge bar is able to accommodate up to 50 people for a seated meal and up to 80 guests for a buffet-style occasion. Our “snug” bar is also possible to hire for a small and intimate occasion.
