The contemporary new DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Wuxi places business visitors at the heart of China’s leading high-tech industrial centre and offers tourists the perfect base to explore this historic city and region rich with culture dating back 3,000 years. The hotel is only 10 minutes drive from Wuxi International Airport and the new high-speed railway that whisks passengers into Shanghai in just half an hour. It’s also close to the main bus station and expressways providing speedy access to Shanghai, Suzhou and Nanjing. Apart from enjoying extensive meeting, dining and recreation facilities in the hotel, guests can find an entertainment centre, two golf driving ranges and an international baseball field within walking distance. There’s also easy access to all the major sightseeing spots like Taibo temple, Wu culture museum, Nanchan Temple, Huishan clay figurines museum, The Turtle Head Park and Taihu Lake.

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
