We focus on using home-grown, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients, and source from local providers: sockeye salmon from British Columbia, bison from Alberta, lobster from Nova Scotia, and dairy products from Ontario. We are the only restaurant to seed and grow fresh lettuce and sprouts (in our main dining room, to be exact) and we serve only Ocean-Wise certified seafood. Who are we? We are family and friends who enjoy traveling and playing games together. Read on to discover more about Tourist Scavenger Hunt. OUR GOAL We endeavor to build touristic scavenger hunts that mix easy and tough challenges, that are family friendly and fun. Moreover, we really try to provide insight and discovery about the city you are visiting. Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

In 2009, the Sheri-Lee and Curtis hand-planted the first 10 acres of vines. Curtis then engineered a planting machine tuned to the needs of the steep rocky property and now planting is mostly complete with more than 55 acres now under vine.

In fact, we are the largest convention center North of 60 equipped with the latest technologies, innovative catering menus and dedicated Event Manager on hand to ensure your event is a success. The Explorer Hotel has several different partners to help you make your conference, meeting or event a huge success. We work with NWT Conference Bureau, Northwest Territories Tourism and several other local tour operators in planning group adventures and special activities. We will help make your conference as speculator and memorable as the land and people of the North!
