The Ararat Hotel is marvelously well located right in the historical centre of the city, just a few steps away from the Republic Square and close to the city's most exciting shopping and thoroughfare of Yerevan. Our Hotel was opened in 2002, January 7. The main part of the building has a history of 150 years old. The architectures tried their best to leave the style of its own. History's touch appears throughout the Hotel. Our restaurant offers you to spend your evenings, parties, business meetings in a pleasant atmosphere with nice music which will lead you to the world of positive emotions. We pride ourselves in offering a personal touch, which is missing nowadays.This is the reason we choose the following slogan for us: "Where Hospitality is an Attitude".

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
