当会場について

Moxy York is Marriott’s only hotel located within the York City Walls. It is superbly located, within 5 minutes walk to the world famous Shambles Market as well 1 minute drive from the A1036, coaches can drop off at bus stop next to hotel and park in nearby coach park.The hotel comprises 118 bedrooms, of which we have 100 Queen Sleepers, 12 Twin Rooms and 6 Family Rooms. For our groups, we have a well equipped gym onsite, public space with fun games like pool and foosball that’s great to meet up in and a fantastic beer garden for our groups to have the perfect start to any evening. The core group business will come from leisure business, with groups coming to enjoy the city or to be part of the York Race Weekends. Additionally, the hotel is situated near to the York Barbican, York St John and the University of York – the hotel works with business guests looking for a unique hotel within the city. Nearby there are local markets, York Barbican, City Walls, York Gin as well as the new Spark:York CIC where everyone wants to be seen in York.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
