Barley Hall is a stunning medieval house, once home to the Priors of Nostell and the Mayor of York. The oldest parts of Barley Hall date from about 1360, when the Hall was built as the York townhouse of Nostell Priory, the monastery near Wakefield in West Yorkshire. This venue provides a truly unique setting for your wedding; a medieval building in the heart of historic York, guaranteeing wonderful memories that last a lifetime.This exceptional historic house offers you the opportunity to create a celebration set within a rich and sumptuous atmosphere made by beamed ceilings, flickering candlelight, and medieval ornamentation.
