Meliá Zanzibar is a luxury beach all-inclusive resort situated on the north-east coast of the exotic island of Zanzibar, in Tanzania, also known as the “Spice Island”. Meliá Zanzibar is built on a 40-acre estate with a beautiful beach of pearlescent white sand lapped by warm ocean waters, 300 meters long, situated at the very end of the property to procure the perfect combination with nature. Spice Market Modeled after the traditional spice market found in Stone Town, the restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience that features an International mixture of cuisines with a distinct Arabian and African influence in buffet style Tamu Perched on the cliff side overlooking the magnificent Indian Ocean, Tamu prides itself in its excellent a la carte menu with African cuisine. Pool Bar & Restaurant As relaxed as it sounds, the pool bar, located alongside the main infinity pool, it is a perfect venue for light meals and snacks. The pool bar offers an extensive menu of cocktails, beers and other beverages. Gabi Beach Restaurant The powder white sand of the Meliá Zanzibar beach provides a dramatic natural entrance way to the resort’s beautiful Gabi Beach restaurant nestled quietly in the palm trees. GROUPS CANCELLATION POLICY • The hotel will only accept cancellations with written notification that is acknowledged by the reservations department. • From confirmation date (the day that the 50% deposit is paid) until 90 days before check in – no cancellation fee will apply. • Hotel will retain the 50% deposit payment. • From 89 – 7 days before check in group elasticity will be offered as per below conditions also stated in the group contract GROUPS ATTRITION POLICY In the event of cancellation, the hotel will retain the 50% deposit. Cancellation of the service Percentage of the total service billed* From 89 – 60 days before check in 20% elasticity to the group numbers will be allowed without cancellation fee. Excess of the 20% elasticity will have 10% cancellation charges applied. From 59 – 31 days before check in 15% elasticity to the group numbers will be allowed without cancellation fee. Excess of the 15% elasticity will have 20% cancellation charges applied. From 30 – 21 days before check in 10% elasticity to the group numbers will be allowed without cancellation fee. Excess of the 10% elasticity will have 25% cancellation charges applied. From 20 – 14 days before check in 5% elasticity to the group numbers will be allowed without cancellation fee. Excess of the 5% elasticity will have 50% cancellation charges applied. From 13 – 7 days before check in 5% elasticity to the group numbers will be allowed without cancellation fee. Excess of the 5% elasticity will have 75% cancellation charges applied. From 6 – 0 days before check in and no shows 100% cancellation fees apply..
