Nestled in the historic town of Bedford, New York, The Bedford Post Inn boasts a rich and storied past that dates back to the 18th century. Originally constructed in 1762, the main building served as a vital stagecoach stop along the Old Post Road, a major thoroughfare connecting New York City to Boston. During the Revolutionary War, Bedford and its surroundings played a pivotal role as a strategic outpost. The inn, with its vantage point and resources, is believed to have provided shelter and sustenance to soldiers and local militia. Stories passed down through generations suggest that the inn’s wine cellar may have been used as a hiding place for valuable supplies and even people during times of conflict. In the 18th and 19th centuries, weary travelers and postal riders would find respite within its sturdy walls, enjoying the warmth and hospitality of this rural haven. The inn’s strategic location contributed to its significance in the area, making it a bustling spot of activity for both locals and travelers. As transportation evolved and the age of stagecoaches waned, the Bedford Post Inn transitioned into a private residence in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The building’s historic charm and rustic architecture were meticulously preserved by its various owners, each contributing to its legacy. In 2007 actor Richard Gere and his business partner Russell Hernandez acquired the property, recognizing its potential and historical significance, they embarked on an extensive renovation project to restore the inn to its former glory while incorporating modern luxuries. Today, the Bedford Post Inn is managed by Sunday Hospitality. Manhattan by Sail has a diverse fleet of ships that sail the NY Harbor daily and a myriad of options to experience the thrill of sailing in the world’s greatest harbor. The Clipper City, a 158-ft. tall ship accommodates up to 149 passengers. A more intimate experience can be had on the Shearwater, a historic schooner with capacity up to 49 passengers.

Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventures offers a fun sightseeing tour + attraction. Born on September 2006 in the heart of Downtown Miami within Bayside Marketplace, to provide a unique sightseeing tour to local, national and international customers, offering daily public tours and private charters. Over the past fifteen (15) years, we’ve grown from one (1) Thriller vessel to the current operation of three (3) Thriller Vessels, and one (1) Thriller Miami Hurricane that were built for Miami’s character, charm, and local culture. Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
