「長沙北星國際會議中心總建築面積為 140,000 平方米，總投資人民幣 16 億元，建築從北到南長 100 米，東西寬 100 米，屋頂高 24 米。其中，會議展覽面積為 36,000 平方米，配套項目建設面積為 98,000 平方米（包括一家優質商務酒店和兩層停車場），是長沙市中心的一個複雜項目，符合國際會議標準，具有接待國家會議的容量。 會議中心與長沙河濱文化園相鄰，其中設有長沙博物館、圖書館、規劃展覽廳和音樂廳，周圍環繞著 5A 辦公大樓、服務式公寓、大中型購物中心、電影院和各種餐飲娛樂場所。北極星國際會議酒店和洲際酒店最多可容納 3,500 人進行會議，同時可容納 1,300 人住宿。酒店擁有 450 間客房，會議中心和酒店通過內部走廊連接，距離酒店僅 2 分鐘步行路程。」
