Hotel Villa Carlotta is a romantic Patrizia style nineteenth century villa in the center of Florence, situated in a tranquil green oasis near Piazzale Michelangelo, the Ponte Vecchio and the Calza conference center. This prestigious villa hotel, a few steps from Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, surrounds the guest in a peaceful atmosphere which provides relaxation, a warm welcome, and hospitality. We are certain that the beauty of the villa will make your stay unique. The 32 rooms, all recently renovated, are very welcoming and comfortable and are elegantly furnished in the classical style. The hotel has a welcoming meeting room that can host up to 50 people. In the refined restaurant, “Al Bobolino’, it is possible to eat by candlelight with background music, sampling the best dishes of Tuscan and Italian cuisine, served by courteous and ever-present waiters.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
