A unique city hotel & Grand Café located in the old Leeuwarden Post Office. We are unique, one of a kind, a special Grand Café & Hotel with its own identity and character. Post-Plaza cannot be copied, we have a story to tell. We are obviously biased, but you really should experience it!

Enormously unique! A hotel & Grand Café where they roast their own coffee. Post-Plaza is the only one in all of Europe. After a lot of testing and tasting, we now have our very own Post-Plaza coffee. Roastmaster Jesse is responsible for the roasting process and he makes sure every cup has the same exquisite taste. The advantage of roasting our own coffee is that we get a very tight control of the coffee's quality, which we keep consistently high. Walk by our coffee roaster on the mezzanine in the Grand Café. Maybe Jesse is available, he loves sharing his passion. Jesse roasts more than 2000 kilo of coffee beans a year. Not just for Post-Plaza but for other hotels and our web shop. Besides our coffees, you can also buy Post-Plaza sparkling wine, cutting boards and traditional Dutch candies in the Post-Plaza store.
