The Enzo Ferrari House Museum (MEF) is a museum in Modena dedicated to the life and work of Enzo Ferarri. The works for the project began in 2009 and also included the renovation of the house-workshop where Enzo Ferrari was born in 1898, where he subsequently worked, for a total of 5,000 m², including the courtyard area; of these, 3,000 m² comprise an exhibition area, an event hall, a teaching room, a store and a cafeteria. The museum was built according to environmental sustainability criteria: it is equipped with a geothermal heating system and a water recycling system, while the huge front windows allow natural lighting.

The Ducal Palace of Modena was the seat of the Estense Court, of the Duchy of Modena and Reggio, between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries; from the unification of Italy it houses the prestigious Military Academy of Modena. The building, one of the most important princely palaces of the seventeenth century, was built starting from 1634 on the site of the ancient Este castle. It seems that the project has undergone the supervision of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
