The Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini is remarkable for its beautiful palace created for the pontifical family Piccolomini at the end of the 16th century, above of the preexisting medieval buildings. The Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini has an enchanting position, for Piazza Ranieri is plunged into the historical-artistic charm of the medieval quarter. The palace is within easy reach of Piazza della Repubblica (shopping area) and of the Cathedral and it is near to the modern system of elevators and escalators which from the parking Campo Boario, at the foot of the plateau, take you straight up to Ranieri, in the heart of the old City. The four stars Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini has three suites, twenty-two double rooms and seven single rooms. The lobby, the lounge bar and the magnificient saloons of the hotel seating up to 50 people are all perfect venues for a banqueting or corporate event as well for conferences, presentations or executive meetings.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
